The demon took Fran's sword skills....but wasn't the sword skills originally given to Fran by Master? So technically, unless the demon target Master, the one who gave Fran all her sword skills in the first place, she shouldn't lose her sword levels + skills?

Well there are some other benefits. In LN they mention that the sword can't get titles, or the skills that come with them. But Fran was able to get like the Goblin Slayer and Masterchef titles. Also Fran can pick a class which comes with a skill.

but if Fran wasn't there, wouldn't the demon take his sword skills? Because if I was a smart demon and figured out that he was using telekinesis to move around, I could just steal that particular skill making him vulnerable. Also, shisho still have a mana cap and other monsters might have more mana than him.

Well, if he was by himself, he can just go all out.

Remember, he killed all 4 Guardians of his spawn area by himself, and they were quite powerful

I was thinking exactly that! Even if he really succeeded getting her skills, Master can just give them to her again, right? Sure, it will likely be harder to defeat him, but they "just" need to find a way to overpower him with combos.
